The Best Natural Remedies for Gallstones
Hard deposits that form inside the gallbladder are called gallstones. It is a small organ that is located behind your liver, on the right side of your abdomen. The size of gallstones can vary as some are smaller than a grain of sand while others are larger than a golf ball. Most of the gallstones are made up of hardened cholesterol. These stones form when too much cholesterol accumulates in the gallbladder. They can also be formed when bile juice concentrates in the gallbladder and high levels of bilirubin are present. Some of the risk factors of gallstones are a sedentary lifestyle, diabetes, obesity, liver disease, a high fat diet, and pregnancy. Certain forms of anemia are also risk factors for gallstones.
