The concept behind the reducing of the fat is that fat needs the fuel to get used up and that is the oxygen. The oxygen is being used up by the stored fat to digest the food and hence the reduced amount of the fat is being used if the amount of oxygen is not being produced in adequate amount. Normally the increase in the body activity level will also lead to increase in the higher amount of fat or carbohydrate. Thus if you increase the amount then the body fat will also be used up.
